One secure app link

Put the care dashboard on your phone.

Each approved pastor opens the link on their own phone, signs in, adds the app to the Home Screen, and then enables background alerts from the dashboard.

Pastor Deavin — iPhone

  1. Open the link in Safari.
  2. Tap the Share icon at the bottom.
  3. Scroll and tap Add to Home Screen.
  4. Tap Add, then open the new icon.
  5. Sign in, tap Enable background alerts, then Send test alert.

For sound, iPhone notification permission must be allowed and Silent/Focus settings must permit alerts.

Pastor Christina and John — Android

  1. Open the link in Google Chrome.
  2. Tap the three-dot Chrome menu.
  3. Tap Install app or Add to Home screen.
  4. Open the Purpose Care icon.
  5. Sign in, tap Enable background alerts, then Send test alert.

Allow Chrome notifications and make sure the phone's notification volume is on.

Evangelist Tiffany — either phone

Use the iPhone directions if she uses Safari on an iPhone. Use the Android directions if she uses Chrome on an Android.

Important: every pastor must enable alerts and run the test on each device they want notified. Installing the icon alone does not grant notification permission.
